How can I find an affordable place to live?
Enterprise Community Partners put together a list of affordable housing in west Denver. Most of these properties have waiting lists, so you may not be able to get in right away. Check the application requirements for each property and get on lists as soon as possible. Most of these properties require income qualifications, but specific requirements can change from building to building.
You can use the following websites to search for affordable housing properties:
GoSection8 (Note: This list is focused on properties that accept Housing Choice Vouchers, sometimes known as Section 8 vouchers. You must sign up and be approved to receive a Housing Choice Voucher. You can learn more and sign up for waitlist alerts here.)
You can check the current availability of Denver Housing Authority properties here. You can also follow the DHA Facebook page to see updates about available units.
Colorado Housing Connects is a free service that can help connect you to affordable housing. Visit their website or call their hotline at 1(844) 926-6632.
