WDSBC Projects
Small Business Report
In late 2020, WDRC and the West Denver Small Business Coalition (WDSBC) secured grant funding from SPARCC and Mile High Connects to launch a west Denver focused project with the objective of identifying and better understanding the needs and priorities of small businesses in the area. Through canvassing, the coalition partners identified more than 1,000 businesses, connected with over 600, and received surveys from 217 businesses.
West Denver Marketplaces
The Small Business Report highlighted a need to improve access to resources and marketing support. 75% of business wanted to be included on a west Denver website and about one third wanted to be part of a gift card program. The WDSBC secured SDBCP and ARPA grant funds to launch the West Denver Marketplaces program to offer a digital landing page for small businesses along with a collective gift card that can be used at participating stores.
